The Blackberry Room offers a comfortable queen sized brass bed and a private three-piece ensuite bathroom with shower. The private balcony on the guest floor can be easily accessed to sit outside for sunset views or watch the deer browsing at the front of the house. Cable television and wireless internet. Welcome to the Bumbleberry Inn
We are situated on Gabriola Island, British Columbia, Canada. The island is one of a chain of small islands between Vancouver Island and the mainland of British Columbia. Gabriola Island is the gem of the Gulf Islands just a short distance by ferry from the City of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. The ferry trip is twenty minutes and there are fifteen daily ferries to Gabriola. We have four lovely rooms on a private floor reserved for guests. We are blessed with country tranquility, peace and quiet. Our location is close to the shores of Gabriola and next to a one hundred and sixty acre nature reserve with old growth trees and meandering trails to wonder through. A mushroom hunter's delight. There are trails for hiking and cycling. Some ride their horses through to the beach at Whalebone. Take a look at an aerial view of the forest from the Google Map on the Where We Are page. Country Elegance
Country Elegance is the standard. The eleven year old house was beautifully constructed by a master millwright who spared nothing to showcase his craftsmanship. From the oak paneling and decorative trim to the spacious windows, the setting provides an elegant family atmosphere.
